The Countdown Blog is a space to share tidbits on writing, behind-the-scenes stories on Warhead (my memoir), tips for writers, and other things that do not neatly fit into a box. Comments are welcome.

Don’t you think it’s a teeny bit strange that a lot of the language publishers use as they’re bringing a book to market—the "final stages” of publishing, the “countdown”, the book “launch”—is similar to how people talk about nuclear weapons, a major theme in Warhead? I do. That’s why I’m calling this The Countdown Blog. Anyway, welcome, read, enjoy. And thank you.
